It doesn’t get any easier than these Oreo Cookie Balls. No bake and only three ingredients needed. Their taste is AMAZING, especially considering the little amount of work it takes to make these.
The filling:
Lets get rolling….
Oreo Cookie Balls
Print RecipeIngredients
- 1 (20-ounce) package of Oreo cookies
- 1 (8-ounce) block of cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 cup chocolate chips (or chocolate almond bark)
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
In a large ziplock bag (or food processor), smash the entire package of Oreo cookies until they are fine crumbs. Add the Oreo cookie crumbs into the bowl of a stand mixer affixed with the paddle attachment. Add the cream cheese to the cookie crumbs and mix on high speed until cookie crumbs and cream cheese are completely incorporated.
Remove the bowl from the mixer and pour mixture into an airtight container and place in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours (or overnight).
Line a large rimmed baking sheet with a silpat (or foil). Use a small cookie scoop to scoop balls of the mixture and set on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, add the chocolate chips and melt in the microwave for 60-90 seconds, stopping every 15 seconds to stir the chocolate. Remove chocolate once it is melted. Use a fork to dip each cookie ball in the melted chocolate. Immediately top with sprinkles and set on prepared pan to set. Continue process with remaining cookie balls. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator to allow the truffles to cool and set.
Notes
Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
TIP: Get the kids involved with these! It’s helpful to have a designated “sprinkler” who can add the sprinkles onto the balls as soon as you roll each one in chocolate, as the chocolate will set quickly.
