Easy, baked turkey meatballs that pair well with your favorite pasta or as a yummy meatball sandwich! Ground turkey, Italian seasoning, parmesan cheese, egg, and Panko bread crumbs are the few ingredients needed to make these. And these meatballs are mixed in one bowl and baked quickly in the oven…within 30-minutes from start to finish! Y’all in?!
One of the “go-to” meals for the boys is spaghetti. So I hijacked their dinner plan and told them I was going to make them meatballs with the ground turkey instead of their usual meat sauce. And I had so much fun making these meatballs! And using a cookie scoop to make the balls made the process so quick.
Spices Inc recently sent me a few of their spices to sample…one of which being their Italian Seasoning. Smells soooooo good. Of course I had to use their Italian Seasoning in these meatballs. I love the freshness and fragrance from Spices Inc dried herbs and can’t wait to share more recipes with you guys using some of their more unique spice blends 🙂
To make these meatballs gluten free, just use the gluten free Panko bread crumbs.
Baked Turkey Meatballs
Print RecipeIngredients
- 1-pound ground turkey
- 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning (I used Spices Inc)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/3 cup Panko bread crumbs
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400-degrees. Line a large, rimmed baking pan with foil and spray with baking spray. Set aside.
In a large bowl, add the turkey, Italian Seasoning, garlic powder, salt, egg, parmesan cheese and bread crumbs. Use your hands to gently mix the ingredients all together. You don't want to overwork the mixture, or your balls will be tough.
Use a standard sized cookie scoop to scoop meatballs onto the prepared baking pan. Bake in 400-degree oven for 20-22 minutes. Because these are turkey meatballs, they need to be baked completely. Remove baked meatballs from the oven and serve warm.
Notes
I cut open one of my meatballs to check for doneness after 21-minutes. Store leftover meatballs in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
The boys had their meatballs on top of whole wheat Rotini pasta and tomato sauce (with a side of bread!)….
